White House Executive Order Seeks to Lower Prescription Drug Prices

In an April 15 executive order, the Trump White House put forth its plan for lowering prescription drug costs. The EO does not implement specific policy initiatives or requirements at this time, but directs federal officials to make recommendations and propose regulations that address prescription drug costs.
